RJ Says: Moving to Pro 4 Off-Road Truck Racing in 2011

Last year I won the TORC Pro 2 Off-Road Truck racing championship. This year I'm moving to the Pro 4 class.

What's the difference between Pro 2 and Pro 4? Pro 2 is two wheel drive. Pro 4 is four wheel drive.

With Pro 4 you can drive more aggressively - you can get on the gas more, because you have much more traction with all four wheels.

Also in 2011, I'm with a new team - Menzies. Plus I have help from Dodge, and Red Bull.

In this video below, this is one of the first times I started testing for 2011. It's a track at Glen Helen Raceway! (Home of the US MX GP)

Troy Lee Designs Welcomes Canadian MX National Champ Colton Facciotti to the Team

Christian Craig?s injury at Southwick was heartbreaking for the whole team and Troy Lee Designs is doing everything they can to support him during his rehabilitation. In his absence, three-time Canadian national motocross champion, Colton Facciotti, will be joining the team and taking a swing at American MX glory.

Facciotti came south on his own dime last weekend and posted a solid fifth place in the opening moto in Massachusetts. Anyone who has seen the tall, Canadian rider in his element can attest to his talent and raw speed on a motocross track. The Troy Lee Designs / Lucas Oil / Honda team recognizes that and, with a bike available, is excited to give Colton an opportunity to show his skills on the sports biggest stage.

"I?m looking forward to the last couple rounds and seeing how Colton can do," says Troy Lee, team owner. "I love to see a kid that is hungry to make it happen and I see that fire in him. I think he is going to surprise a lot of people who haven?t followed his career. The kid is fast."

Colton is anxious to for this weekend too.

"I?m pumped to get the opportunity to ride for TLD," says Colton. Adding, "It?s always been a dream of mine since I was little to get on one of the elite teams in the US and hopefully I can do them proud and get some good results."

If you are heading to the Steel City National Motocross this weekend, or the Pala National MX the following weekend, be sure to keep an eye out for Colton Facciotti. If we?re right, you might just find him at the front of the pack.

2011 KENDA Tennessee Knockout Extreme Enduro: Mike Brown Wins Inaugural Race

On Sunday, August 28, 2011, in Sequatchie Tennessee, a new event was run in the USA. It's called Knockout Extreme Enduro, brought to you by the makers of EnduroCross.

Tennessee native and former 125cc AMA National Motocross Champion Mike Brown outlasted a tough field of over fifty riders to win the KENDA Tennessee Knockout, fueled by Monster Energy. The first time ?American Extreme Enduro? lived up to its billing as a tough race as Brown noted at the finish that the 40 minute long main event ?Was tougher than anything I have ever done. At the halfway mark, I thought I would not be able to finish but I was leading so I kept pushing?. Cody Webb, the factory Beta rider and 2010 AMA Trials champion that has become a regular podium finisher in EnduroCross events finished second and was within striking distance of Brown on the final lap before stalling his bike. Bobby Prochnau, the super tough Canadian KTM rider finished third.
